Walking Weekend. Less than £27 for 2 nights Take A Hike is a friendly young person’s walking
group aimed at 20’s – 40’s. This particular Welsh walking weekend is
specifically tailored for new members (properly equipped and prepared) to go
up Snowdon (1085m) in deep snow and ice (weather depending). We would also

and you will be supported but do a few wintery Yorkshire Dale practice walks
first to test your ability and equipment. Thousands of people climb Snowdon
every year OK including children. Staying at Llanberis
YHA situated on the southern bank of the lake Llyn Padarn and at the foot of Snowdon in an Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty. With spectacular mountains, waterfalls, flora and
fauna, with wild goats, wild ponies, otters & eagles. Don’t be put off by the bargain price if
you have never stayed at a YHA before. It is not a
bunk barn. They offer good quality accommodation but we got a fantastic group

discounts, free guided walks, excellent social nights and making new walking
friends. We hope it will encourage new members, retain old members, develop
