Walking Weekend Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ! Celebrate with a Lake District bargain walking
weekend with friends, accommodation and guided walks. Doing stuff like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XB3unjMN3mY Places are limited. If you snooze you lose! Ambleside YHA is set on the shore line,
with panoramic views of the lake and mountains. With easy access to several
Wainwright peaks and pubs afterwards. Other accommodation is available. YHA prices are currently £5.85 to £8.63 per
night depending on the type of room you select. Saturday and Sunday’s walks are to be
decided depending on weather and the group’s ability. Expect Wainwright
mountain routes over 9 miles with icy steep rocky paths, scree and scrambling
but nothing too severe, great fun and well within most people’s ability. Beginners are welcome, we want you to come
and you will be supported but try do a few Yorkshire Dale winter practice
walks first to test your ability and equipment. Email Mike for the YHA discount details.
